But brown-bag-it and walk across the way, sit on the benches and gaze over the Hudson River. You are RIGHT ON IT. 35 minutes from the motel, worth the trip (perfect if also visiting the Martin Van Buren home); easy on the wallet, kid [...] Red Dot Bar * Restaurant ~ Seems like the one that has lasted the longest in Hudson. Small place, but good health foods; great breads and soups. The Cottage is a tiny restaurant on the outskits of East Chatham; and a recommendation by Jim Leff; the “Chowhound”. The liked the prices, the authenticity and the English Muffin bread. 35 mintues from the motel, very reasonable [...] Ca’ Mea is Northern Italian cuisine (not so much tomato sauce…).
