CLOSED TILL WE FIND ANOTHER BUYER!!! Just down the street, a favorite breakfast spot for the guests of the motel. Excellent diner specials as well, however they do not serve alcohol.

New Mexican restaurant and very busy… hopefully the love affair will last. The best, most reasonable priced Mexican food for dinner.
20 minutes from the motel, moderate pricing, kids very welcome, reservations a must on weekends and holidays (maybe anytime just to be sure). 518.392.6663

WOW, okay… food is nice deli style; very good. But brown-bag-it and walk across the way, sit on the benches and gaze over the Hudson River. You are RIGHT ON IT.
35 minutes from the motel, worth the trip (perfect if also visiting the Martin Van Buren home); easy on the wallet, kid friendly of course. 518-758-8950.

Seems like the one that has lasted the longest in Hudson. Always a favorite.

Vico” means village in the Tuscan dialect, and this place has built a community around
locally grown, seasonal ingredients, uncomplicated preparation based on the
centuries-old traditions of Italian cuisine. Plus, Vico gives Silvanus Lodge guests’ a free glass of wine with dinner!

First rate dining; local foods, chefs and service – the best of all to offer.
20 minutes from motel; kid friendly (be sure to mention when making reservations), fittingly priced, yet it can be a bit pricey.
Guests comments include: “We sat, we ate, were were happy”, “prices really went up from when they first opened… who leaked it out that they didn’t charge enough?”.

Earth Food ~ #1 pick of guests for lunch in Hudson; healthy, organic, vegetarian, and local meats too. Small place, but good health foods; great breads and soups. Juice bar is excellent.
