east-chathamThe Cottage Reataurant ~ there is something comforting in an establishment that feels authentic to a period past.  The Cottage is a tiny restaurant on the outskits of East Chatham; and a recommendation by Jim Leff; the “Chowhound”.  The liked the prices, the authenticity and the English Muffin bread.

Ca Mea ~ Hudson NY, 333 Warren Street

cameaCa’ Mea is Northern Italian cuisine (not so much tomato sauce…).  They have a real live Italian chef – Massimiliano (Max).

20 minutes from motel; kid friendly, expensive, but reasonable. 518.822.0005

Guest comments include: “The chef has a very nice butt, AND he’s a nice guy and a real Italian”.  “Eat on the porch! Environs only exceeded by the food… and let the waiter order for you”.  “Kid friendly, but a bit pricey for kids…”.
